Washington — Former U.S. Rep. Mike Rogers said Thursday he will host an eight-part series on CNN on the U.S. intelligence community.
The CNN contributor and former Republican chairman of the House Intelligence Committee from Howell will host the series next year that “delves into true stories of America’s covert operations around the world.”
Each episode will feature a “newly declassified mission told firsthand by the agents who lived it, while getting unprecedented access to the riveting and secret world of espionage.”
Rogers, who currently does radio commentaries and is a former Federal Bureau of Investigation agent, has raised concerns that the United States won’t remain the world’s indispensable nation.
In his farewell address in December, Rogers said he was worried that too many Americans didn’t care enough about important foreign policy issues. He lamented the rising debt and U.S. corporate tax system.
